Send nudes? We’re sending thousands.

It started as a clever pun. Send nudes – like, you know, nude bras. But once we started getting deeper into what a “Send Nudes” campaign might look like, we realized there was a lot to unpack here. Are we against sending naked photos of yourself, we thought? Actually, no. We’re all for it. What we are against are the men who, completely unsolicited, ask for these photos and when denied, may act irrationally and sometimes downright nasty.

After some research, we learned that requesting nude photos is a common tool sex traffickers use to target teens. Traffickers find teens or children on social media who seem like they need someone to talk to – their posts seem “moody” or “depressed” – and reach out to them offering support. Once gaining their trust, they will often ask the victim to send nude photos, promising to keep them private. The sexting quickly turns into sextortion (basically online blackmail) threatening to share the photos with their friends and family unless the trafficker gets what they want.

We realized the “Send Nudes” campaign could be more than women taking back the right to send or not to send whatever photos they want. It could do social good. That’s why we teamed up with Free the Girls – an organization that empowers girls rescued from sex trafficking, by providing a safe and powerful economic opportunity through the second-hand bra market.

Harper Wilde Send Nudes

Starting Tuesday, January 23rd, women can post their funniest “Send Nudes” response to Instagram with the hashtag #HarperWildeSendsNudes or comment on our Instagram post on @HarperWilde__ with their best response. For each response we receive, we will donate one bra to Free the Girls. And from February 7-14, we’ll donate another bra for every one purchased on our website.

You’d be hard-pressed to find a woman’s DM inbox without a “U got pics?” message in it. According to a (completely unofficial but probably still very accurate) online poll we ran, 61% of respondents said they have received an unwanted request to send nudes, with 38% saying they receive these messages on average 1-2 times per month.

“I used to get them all the time. It was only after I started posting pics of my boyfriend I think I became ‘too human’ or something and they stopped,” said Meaghan, a marketing manager from Los Angeles.

“Crazy that these guys assume if you’re single you’re fair game for whatever they want to send you.”

When requests for nudes are unexpected and unwanted, it can make the receiver feel anything from annoyed to embarrassed to violated.

“If you ask me for nudes unsolicited I’m going to be wildly offended. Where did that come from? Can you get to know me first? Why does how my body looks without clothes matter so much?” said Alayna, a visual manager from St. Louis.

Because these unwelcome messages can be unfortunately frequent, many women are choosing to use humor to combat them. By turning it into a funny exchange, we’re able to turn the conversation from a total violation to something similar to mild heartburn – like how you feel after chugging champagne and running through an airport (not suggested).

Harper Wilde Send Nudes

Katy Wellhousen, Harper Wilde’s Director of Marketing and Growth, had this exchange on Twitter.

By responding with humor, women are finding that they’re able to re-own the conversation by turning the shame back on the harasser.

“The strongest argument in favour of feminist humour, though, is the enormous effect to which it can be used. Laughing at a problem doesn’t just mean avoiding or belittling it – it can be one of the most powerful and effective ways to expose and tackle it,” wrote Laura Bates for The Guardian on how women choose to respond to unsolicited messages.

That’s why this Valentine’s Day we’re taking back “Send Nudes” and doing something good with it in the process. Get your screenshot finger ready and start posting your best responses to unwelcome demands for photos with #HarperWildeSendsNudes – we’ll be sharing the best ones on Instagram now until Valentine’s Day. You’ll be helping make a difference for victims of sex trafficking, and getting in a good jab at those guys in your DMs.

Send nudes? We’re sending thousands.

About Harper Wilde

Harper Wilde started with one simple question: “Why are bras so damn expensive?” Instead of finding an answer, they ran into more questions: why is the bra industry so over-sexualized? Why do bras have so many embellishments? As the questions piled up, so too did their passion to change the bra industry.

With the goal of empowering women with fairly-priced, quality bras, Jane and Jenna, who met while earning their MBAs at Pennsylvania’s Wharton School, talked to hundreds of women to determine what features women want and need in a bra, and which ones they don’t. Working with renowned intimates designers, they created everyday bras that match a woman’s real needs.

Harper Wilde is about way more than just lifting up “the ladies”. At Harper Wilde, Jenna and Jane believe a strong, empowered woman is the product of an educated young girl. Yet, there  are over 31 million school-age girls without access to education, and women make up over two-thirds the number of illiterate adults. Making sure the prices of our bras are fair was a top priority for them, but they also wanted to do more to create an equal playing field for women on a broader scale. That’s why they’re donating a portion of our profits to girls’ education. For each additional year spent in primary school, a girl’s future earnings rises 10-20%.

About Free the Girls

Free The Girls is an international non-profit organization devoted to coming alongside sex trafficking survivors with a path to true freedom. It’s a journey from horrific trauma to reintegrating into the life they were meant to live within their family and community. Their goal for true freedom is measured by economic freedom, restored health, social well-being, education, and opportunity for a different, hopeful future.

Free the Girls partners with those who have a heart for victims of trafficking. With holistic reintegration programs and economic opportunity through bras, the organization offers the opportunity for these women to empower themselves to change the trajectory of their lives.

By donating your new or gently used bras, you’re giving economic opportunity that these women use to change their lives. Your financial donation helps survivors of human trafficking start their own businesses selling bras in their local second-hand clothing markets while they recover and build their new life. Free the Girls accepts both new and gently used bras of all sizes and styles, including sports bras, nursing bras, and camisoles.

4 New Year’s Resolutions and How to Actually Keep Them

Oh, 2017. You brought us an [impending] American princess, the best word of the year ever, the incredibly inspiring Silence Breakers, two new Beyoncé mini-mes, and well-made, fairly-priced bras. But, enough with looking in the rearview mirror; we’re ready to jump into 2018 head first to make it our best year yet. And what better way to set ourselves up for success than jotting down a few resolutions for the new year?

But before you go on a crash diet or Marie Kondo your entire life, slow down for a second. We’re not talking about the kind of resolutions you make and then break within two weeks. We’re talking about realistic, achievable resolutions that will be sustainable throughout the year and for years to come. Take a peek below to see what we mean with four tweaks that you can make in the coming year, including expert tips on how to sustain them. 2018 is gonna be great, ya’ll. We can feel it.

DRINK MORE WATER

bkr.png

You can’t deny the facts: Drinking more water has a plethora of benefits. It strengthens your immune system, supports healthy skin and hair, increases energy, and helps maintain a healthy diet. But no matter how many times your doctor, mom, or BFF reminds you about this, on most days you’re still completely parched by 3:00 p.m. This year, invest in a luxurious, liter-sized water bottle. (We love bkr!) Keep it permanently on your desk and plan to drink a full bottle by the time you’ve finished lunch (set a timer for 1PM to remind you, if needed). Drink one more bottle by the time you leave your desk and you’ll be in great shape. Added tip: Keep some lemon juice in your office fridge to spruce up your H2O and add extra nutrients.

EXERCISE MORE FREQUENTLY

exercise.png

Balancing a career, an active social calendar, and a workout routine can be very tricky. (And the first thing to get cut from the schedule is typically the exercise.) But instead of trying to plan out a full week of workouts and then having to cancel due to other plans, why not commit to always exercising on Monday? Most social events happen later in the week, anyway, so there won’t be much temptation to cancel. And statistics show that people who exercise on Mondays are much more likely to exercise again throughout the week. Cut yourself a break every once in a while if you don’t make it to the gym past Monday, but we’ll bet that most weeks you will.

READ MORE BOOKS

audiobook.png

In the era of the Netflix binge, the nightly habit of reading before bed has definitely taken a hit. We get it — it’s hard to reach for Dostoyevsky when there’s unlimited access to Rachel, Monica, Chandler, and Joey. The answer? Books on tape. Being read to still qualifies as reading, and this way you can ‘read’ in the shower, on your commute to work, while walking the dog, etc. And you’ll be surprised how quickly it is to get through The Odyssey when Cousin Matthew is reading it to you.

WAKE UP EARLIER

alarm.png

Is it just us, or is getting into work by 9:00 a.m. getting harder and harder by the day? One snooze leads to a second and a third, followed by 15 minutes of scrolling through Instagram before actually getting out of bed. The [harsh but effective] solution? Relocating your alarm, whether that be an actual clock or where you plug in your phone for the night. Keeping it across the room will force you to get out of bed to shut it off, making it that much harder for you to keep snoozing after you do so. Before you know it, you’ll actually be one of those people who eats breakfast during the week. Obviously, the next step will be conquering the world.

Oh, and one more thing! Make sure to head on over the Harper Wilde to start your year off with an extra lift. (Priorities, people!)

6 Secrets for Easy Holiday Travel

Ah, the joys of holiday travel! The lost baggage. The layovers. The crying babies. The missed trains. All in all, it’s a small price to pay to be with loved ones during the most festive of seasons. But in the moment, it sure feels like you’re paying a million bucks — and then some.

Lucky for you, we’re happy to lend a hand through these trying, traveling times (shoutout to ATL airport). As our gift to you this joyous season, here are six secrets to surviving the craziness that is holiday travel.

An App that Tracks Airline Fares

hopper.png

Each year we promise ourselves that we’ll look into holiday travel by the time Halloween comes around. But October 31st comes and goes and booking flights completely slips our mind. This year, however, we downloaded the flight watching app, Hopper. With its handy technology, all you have to do is put in your desired travel dates and airport details, and it watches the flights for you, predicting when’s the cheapest day to buy tickets. Once it’s time to book, the app sends you a push notification to let you know. See ya never, overpriced airfare.

An Ingenious Way to Pack Liquids

saran wrap

We’ve all been there: You’ve finally arrived after a long journey, just to unzip your bag and find everything soaked in shampoo. Not anymore, friends! Expertly seal your liquids by unscrewing the top, placing a generous amount of saran wrap over the opening, and rescrewing the top back on. No matter the change in pressure, your clothes will be safe from an unexpected spill.

A Trusty Travel Uniform

bra (1).png

Comfort is key, whether your traveling by plane, train, or automobile. Choose a go-to travel outfit — one without too many bells and whistles that you’ll have to take off for security screenings (i.e. belts, laces, etc.) — that helps you stay comfortable throughout your journey. We recommend starting from the inside outward with a soft, supportive bra. Add a great pair of leggings, a cozy t-shirt, and a blanket scarf for temperature control.

How to Avoid the Dreaded ‘Travel Flu’

sick.png

Confined spaces + coughing seat mate + early wake ups/jet-lag = you’re sick for the holidays. Not if we can help it, though. Up your immune system before your journey to avoid catching a cold en route. How? Zinc supplements and increasing your water intake are the magic tools you need. Start the regimen a day before you travel and keep it up for a full day after you’ve arrived.

To the Left, To the Left

airport security.png

Security lines are the worst. And, while there is no way around them, there is a way to strategically find yourself in the quickest lane. The majority of the population is right-handed, which means they tend to choose lanes to their right more frequently than those to their left. Therefore, taking the left lane is usually the quicker option. (Unless there’s a family with six kids under the age of six. Then, you might want to choose the other line.)

Download, Download, Download

Netflix.png

Listen, we all love a good trashy plane flick. (Hello, 13 Going on 30.) But what really makes the time fly is diving back into that Stranger Things episode you’ve been meaning to finish. The trick? Download a few episodes of your favorite show onto the Netflix app on your phone the night before you travel. Trust us: You’ll be so deep into the Upside Down that you won’t even realize that you’ve landed.

The Ultimate Gift Guide for Everyone on Your List

There are two types of people during the holidays: The ones who decorate the tree, make the gingerbread house, and buy the gifts — all by December 1. And then there are, well… normal people.

For those of us who need a little extra help and inspiration this holiday season, we’ve pulled together an exhaustive list of gift ideas for every person in your life — from your work wife to your new neighbors, and everyone in-between.

Your Cool Boss: Artsy Desk CalendarCalendar.pngHow do you say thanks for the career support over the past year, without being too extra? This cool desk calendar from Of a Kind nails it. It’s unique, professional, and it adds some much-needed color to her [perpetually messy] desk.

Your Work Wife: Cheeky NotebookSpellbookAdmit it: You couldn’t make it through a week without your partner-in-crime. Tell her how magical you think she is with this cheeky (and useful!) notebook by the new NYC-based women’s club, The Wing. Cauldron not included.

Your Bestie: The Gift of a Liftbra.pngBetween killing it at work, nailing the crow pose, and helping you through your latest crisis, your BFF barely has enough time in a day. Needless to say, she has no room in her life for added b.s. — especially when it comes to bra shopping. Show her you care with a Harper Wilde gift card. If anyone could use a comfortable, reliable, and quality-made lift this holiday season, it’s her.

Your Mom: A Luxe BathrobebathrobeAh, moms: The real-life superheroes of modern-day society. What would we do without them? Give yours the gift of luxury this year with an insanely comfortable, not to mention stylish, bathrobe from Sunday Forever. She definitely deserves to trade her cape for a kimono every once in a while.

Your Dad: His Favorite Podcast, Come to Lifemoth.pngHe’s always telling you about his latest podcast obsession or the cool story he heard on the radio. This year, take your dad to see a podcast come to life at The Moth — a non-profit organization that encourages real people to tell true, intimate, and unscripted stories to a listening audience. Buy tickets for both of you to go to a GrandSLAM to hear from the area’s ten best storytellers of the season. You’ll both have a blast at the event, and, once he starts subscribing to the Moth podcast (if he doesn’t already), he’ll relive the excitement all over again when he hears that episode played months later.

Your Newly Feminist Sister: Earrings That Make a Subtle StatementFemale Earrings.pngStatement earrings are always in style, but what we’re really loving right now are earrings that make a statement. These female symbol studs are perfect for your sister who is dismantling the patriarchy, one mansplainer at a time. Added incentive: Madewell donates 25% of the retail price of these earrings to Girls Inc., a non-profit organization that empowers and inspires young women through advocacy and education.

Your ‘I-Don’t-Need-Anything’ Brother: Socks That Give BackBombas (1)Is anyone harder to buy for than brothers!? Answer: No. However, no one will turn away a great pair of cozy socks. Especially when that pair also provides a special pair to the homeless community. (Did you know socks are the #1 requested clothing item at homeless shelters?) Seriously, Bombas are the best socks we’ve ever owned… and we feel great about giving to a worthy cause. Gifting problem, solved.

Your Partner’s Family: Creative CookiesCookies.pngBe the MVP of your in-law’s holiday party this year with a tin of the best — and arguably, most creative — cookies this side of the world. With ingredients like pretzels, potato chips, coffee, oats, graham cracker, butterscotch, and chocolate chips, Milk Bar cookies make everyone’s taste buds jump for joy. And all those ingredients add up to just one type of cookie! Feeling ambitious? Make them yourself.

Your Niece/Nephew: An Empowering StorybookShe PersistedIt’s never too early for positive messaging. “She Persisted” — a children’s book about 13 American women who changed the world — will entertain the little ones while also teaching them that women can do just about anything. Cool aunt bonus points: Read it to them, yourself.

Your Niece/Nephew’s Parents: A Night OutBirbigs.pngOf course they love their kids, but that doesn’t mean your brother and sister-in law don’t need a night out. Give them a night of babysitting and tickets to a comedy show (we love Mike Birbiglia’s wry, relatable sense of humor). They’ll be thanking you for years to come.

Your Cousin That’s ‘Taking a Year Off’: The Gift of AdventureAir Bnb (1)Before he ‘enters the real world,’ he’s decided to take some time to travel. But what he’ll quickly find out is that the vagabond lifestyle ain’t cheap. Help him on his quest for self discovery with a gift card from Airbnb. Plus, you’ll get referral points when he takes his first trip.

Your Book Club: Personalized Library Stampsbook stampEvery book lover knows the pain of lending out a favorite novel and never getting it back. With this personalized stamp, you can make sure that never happens to your beloved bibliophile, again. You’ll be the belle of the book club, for sure.

Your New Neighbors: Sage CandlecandleMany believe that burning sage in a space clears and cleans out bad energy in order to start anew. But giving someone a bundle of dried leaves is a bit… underwhelming. Instead, give your new neighbors a sage candle that both smells lovely and looks beautiful in their new apartment. And when that smell wafts over to your space, you’ll realize it’s actually kind of a gift for you, too.

Now that you’ve hit holiday gifting out of the park, feel free to reward yourself with a fairly priced, comfortable, no-nonsense bra. You deserve it!

bra shopping

The Little (Bra) Shop of Horrors

Most humans with boobs agree: there is something horrific about waking up one morning, peering into your underwear drawer to pull out your favorite bra, and realizing that they are all stretched, worn, or holier than Swiss cheese.

*Sigh* You could have sworn you just bought these a month ago! Okay, maybe it was a year ago… or was it two boyfriends ago? Whatever, time flies when your boobs are comfortable.

And just when you think finding a near-death bra (RIP old friend) on its last seam is the most dread-inducing situation, a thought even more ghastly comes to you: now you have to shop for a new replacement.

Enter the Little Bra Shop of Horrors: The unflattering florescent lighting! The gaggle of teenagers who bring their boyfriends into the lingerie section! The mess of straps, clasps, and bedazzlements! Oh, the agony.

Don’t worry, you’re not alone in your hatred for bra shopping. In fact, here are three women who made it out of there alive and bravely shared their stories (names have been changed to protect the innocent):

“Awful bra shopping experiences have never been isolated incidents for me. I developed in middle school and the only bras that were ever available in my size always resembled something of a grandmother’s underwear… and expensive ones at that! In addition to the high-priced, ugly bras for us big-breasted women, nobody ever knows how to actually size us correctly. I’ve been told I’m so many different sizes that I don’t even know what to believe. I didn’t choose the boob life – it chose me.”

DAINA, 26 – Seattle, WA

“I hate bra shopping so much that most of the time, I pull a Carrie Bradshaw and don’t even wear one at all. I have super small boobs, so the sales associates try to pair me with a triple-padded bra packed full of so many chicken cutlet inserts, you might as well throw me the grill and feed a family of 5.”

PRISCILLA, 25 – San Francisco, CA

“I recently went bra shopping for a simple, non-padded strapless bra. You’d think it’d be easy to find in a store…but then sales associates work their selling magic by convincing you that you NEED this ultra-padded, bells & whistles bra and before you know it, you’re at the cash register swiping your Amex – losing $80 and your dignity. Talk about an actual booby trap.

STEPHANIE, 33 – San Diego, CA

At Harper Wilde, we feel your pain about traditional shopping for bras in stores. That’s why we offer Free Home Try-On so you can give our bras a test drive from the comfort of your own home.

7 Holiday Outfits That Will Make You Love Your Strapless Bra

‘Tis the season for scarves, hot cocoa, gift exchanges, and… strapless bras? Bare with us, we’ll explain. With parties, festivities, and events happening every other night in December, we find ourselves reaching, time after time again, for our closet workhorse: our trusty strapless bra. Interesting necklines are all the rage, and just because the weather outside is frightful, it doesn’t mean looking great has to be.

We pulled together seven different holiday activities and the perfect outfit to wear to each one.  Trust us: with your jam-packed social calendar, you’re going to want to keep the style inspiration —  and your strapless bra — handy this season.

Tree Lighting Ceremony: Winter WhitesWinter whites-2

Comfort is paramount for any outdoor activity, so keep your outfit cozy and your heels low. Embrace the monochrome trend and go white on white with your chunky knits. Off -the-sleeve sweater? No sweat, you’ve got a no-slip strapless bra on underneath. Add over-the-knee suede boots and a structured bag, and you may just outshine the tree.

Get the look: Harper Wilde bra, Express dress, Express scarf, Sam Edelman boots, Zara bag

The Nutcracker with Your Niece: Chic TulleMoody Tulle-2

Is there ever a better excuse to wear a tutu than when you’re going to the ballet? Just make sure to skip the light pink to avoid looking twee and go for an edgier color, instead. Finish it all off with a leather jacket, opaque tights, and, of course, some ballet flats.

Get the look: Harper Wilde bra, Navabi skirt, BLANKNYC jacket, Pretty Ballerinas shoes

Your Annual Office Party: The Updated LBDUpdated LBD

The key to the perfect office party outfit is combining fashion with professionalism. Your ultimate goal: Look more stylish than your normal dress + blazer combo, while also steering clear of anything that could fall into the ‘going out’ category. (It’s a fine line, friends.) The answer: An updated little black dress. Choose one that incorporates current trends (think: slightly off-the-shoulder, tea length) without being too extra. And nothing is more extra than bra straps that keep peeking out when you don’t want them to. Stick to functional [albeit chic, of course] choices and your witty conversation with the CEO will be the most memorable part of the evening.

Get the look: Harper Wilde bra, CYS dress, Sam Edelman shoes, BaubleBar earrings

Dinner at the In-Laws: Feathers & BlushIn-Laws

Feathers are never a bad idea, especially if you pair them with a silk camisole and a structured, oversized blazer. This outfit is fashionable enough to inspire your partner’s hip Gen Z younger sibling while — simultaneously — modest enough to chat family recipes with Great Grandma Alice.

Get the look: Harper Wilde bra, Lulus skirt, Equipment tank, Topshop blazer, Madewell bag

Your Best Friend’s Gift Exchange: All the TexturesBFF Gift Exchange (1)

Texture is everything when it comes to this combo. Pair the season’s hottest material, velvet, with our favorite pant silhouette, culottes, for an out-of-this world outfit. Top it off with a silk camisole, a strapless bra, and a pair of cool-girl fishnet socks. Your friends will definitely be talking about your outfit for the rest of this year and the next.

Get the look: Harper Wilde bra, Billy T camisole, H&M culottes, ASOS socksINC International Concepts shoes

Winter Wedding: Sequins & Statement SleevesWinter Wedding

Calling all glitter addicts! More is more when it comes to holiday weddings. Go all out with sequins, embellished sleeves, and a red lip. Extra points for sparkly shoes.

12 Simple Time-Saving Tips For Your Busiest Days

You’re a busy woman — we totally get it. You’ve pretty much mastered the art of puzzle-piecing together your schedule. But some days are so jam-packed that it feels like it will be impossible to get through them without going insane. Don’t panic: We’re here to help with these super simple time-saving (and sanity-saving) tips for your busiest days.

DAY BEFORE: Prepare, prepare, prepare

  • Replace to-do lists with time-blocks
    • Listen, we love a good to-do list. But for the i-may-go-crazy days, a list is not enough. The night before, take a look at all your to-dos and estimate the amount of time it will take you to complete each one. Then block off that amount of time in your calendar. This will make sure you’re realistic about the number of hours in your day and the time it takes to get through your tasks.
  • Know your priorities
    • Sometimes those tasks will take longer than expected (aka that time we got a flat tire on the way to the grocery store). Make sure you know what your top priorities of the day are — and what won’t kill you if you can’t find the time to do it. If anything goes awry, you know what tasks to cut.
  • Cook & freeze
    • No one wants to get home exhausted only to have to cook a meal. Our secret? Make spaghetti sauce earlier in the week and freeze it. Pop it in the fridge before you leave for the day and it will be defrosted by the time the water is boiling that evening.
  • Shower & dry shampoo
    • Nighttime showers have a lot of benefits, but the ultimate one is saving you time the next morning. Better yet: Shower, dry your hair, and apply a generous amount of dry shampoo before you go to bed. Wake up looking refreshed and oil free.

DAY OF: Keep it simple and streamlined

  • Monochrome
    • You woke up late — with nothing to wear. Our favorite time-saving style hack? A monochrome look. And luckily for us, it’s one of fall’s biggest style trends. One-color outfits are sleek, stylish, and professional without using any extra brainpower. Take a quick look at your closet and note which color dominates. Red on red is having a moment, but if that feels a bit too bold we recommend black’s less moody cousin: Navy.
  • Skip the eyeliner, add the lipstick
    • Cut out your most time-consuming makeup step (for us, that’s definitely eyeliner) and grab the lipstick, instead. A bold lip takes any outfit to the next level of sophistication (and distracts from any other elements you may have had to scrimp on due to time restraints).
  • One-minute plank
    • On busy days, it’s easy to cut out exercise entirely. But one missed day leads to another and another and another… you get the point. If you have time for nothing else, hold a plank for 1:00 minute straight. You’ll tone a ton of muscles, warm up your body, and not sacrifice any time doing so.
  • Commute catch-up
    • Think about the tasks you can accomplish on-the-go. Need to call your grandmother to wish her a happy birthday? Do it on your walk to work. Haven’t read that important business document? Read it on the train. Need to squeeze in time for mindfulness? Meditate during your morning drive. See? You’ve accomplished three tasks before your day has even begun.
  • Two-minute rule
    • With every spontaneous task that comes in during your busy day, ask yourself this question: Will it take two minutes or fewer to complete? If the answer is yes, do it right then and there and forget about it. If the answer is no, add it to tomorrow’s to-do list. (And forget about it until then.)
  • Convert meetings to emails
    • While we understand the importance of face-to-face meetings, sometimes something has to give — especially when your coworker tends to go fifteen minutes over telling you about her cat’s new vegan diet. When time is of the essence, feel free to ask if there is any way the meeting could be handled in an email or on Slack. More often than not, the answer is yes.
  • Don’t freak out
    • If something doesn’t get done, remember, it is not the end of the world. You are only human, after all!

DAY AFTER: Relax & recover

  • Take a deep breath. Pat yourself on the back. (And then do everything you didn’t get to do yesterday.)
